As stated by reports, rapper Offset got sued over carelessness of losing a luxury car, Bentley. He had rented the vehicle from a Los Angeles car rental service in the previous year.
Platinum Transportation Group (PTG), the rental services, had previously claimed that Migos the rapper had rented a Bentley Bentayga 2020 model from the same company last spring and had not returned it to them.
Offset, 29, agreed to rent the luxury car in May for a couple of days, paying around $600 rent for each day.
He had made several requests to extend the rental period, PTG informed the court, and subsequently agreed on a deal to let him use the vehicle for the month of July.
Offset – whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus – ceased making payments for the luxury vehicle on 25th July and didn’t return the car, according to the company.
Early in July, rapper Cardi B’s husband told the rental company that the automobile was no longer in his possession and that he had no knowledge of where it could be.
PTG reported this incident to the court and the company filed a report with the police concerning the car’s disappearance.
Offset was gifted a $600,000 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ as a present for his 29th birthday by his wife Cardi B in December last year.
The couple was spotted in Tampa over the weekend, taking part in festivities prior to the Super Bowl.
