Watch: Janvhi Kapoor pens a heartfelt wish on her Mom Sridevi’s Birthday

On the occasion of her late mother Sridevi’s birth, actress Janhvi Kapoor shared a letter on Instagram in her memory. In 2018, Sridevi passed away in Dubai while attending a family wedding.

Sridevi’s death was determined to be the result of unintentional drowning.

Janhvi Kapoor posted an old photo of herself with Sridevi and captioned it, ” Happy birthday Mumma. I miss you. Everything is for you, always, every day. I love you.” also added a red heart emoji, which scores of others replicated in the comments section.

Janhvi tweeted a photo of a handwritten note, apparently written by her mother, on Sridevi’s third death anniversary earlier this year. It said, “I love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.”

Janhvi made her acting debut in Dhadak in 2018, just months after Sridevi passed away. In an interview with Elle, Janhvi talked about that moment. “Because of what was happening in my personal life, I was very disconnected from what was happening around me. In hindsight, I would have been more engaged. I would have tried to create more of an impression. I was getting a certain amount of attention, but my mind was somewhere else altogether,” she said.
