FIR lodged against Rajat Bedi for hitting a man with his car; victim in critical condition

On Monday evening, Rajat Bedi, who has appeared in films such as Koi Mil Gaya and Partner, allegedly hit a man with his automobile. He has been charged with a felony.

Actor Rajat Bedi has been charged after allegedly hitting a guy with his car. Rajesh Ramsingh Doot, the victim, has been brought to the Cooper hospital in Mumbai and is stated to be in a critical condition.

Rajesh, 39, was hit by Rajat’s automobile on his way home from work on Monday at about 6.30 p.m., according to Mid-Day. An FIR has been filed against the actor under relevant parts of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act, according to Milind Kurde, a Senior Inspector at the DN Nagar police station. However, no one has been arrested as of yet.

Babita Doot, the victim’s wife, told the newspaper that her husband was inebriated at the time of the accident and had injuries to the back of his head. Rajat got him sent to Cooper Hospital and promised to assist the family, but she stated he departed and never returned.

“At the hospital, Bedi told us that my husband suddenly came in front of the car. He assured to help us and said that both he and his driver Suresh were there at the hospital. But after some time, he said he was leaving briefly, but never came back,” Babita said, demanding Rajat’s arrest.

Meanwhile, a doctor who is treating Rajesh, said, “His condition is too critical, as he sustained head injuries. He is in the ICU and on oxygen support. He urgently needs blood.”
