Oprah Winfrey is being chastised by Rose McGowan for ‘faking’ her support for the #MeToo movement

Rose McGowan, an American actor, and activist has accused Oprah Winfrey, a media executive and television celebrity, of lying about her support for the #MeToo movement.

The 47-year-old Charmed star slammed the 67-year-old talk show presenter, calling her “as fake as they come.”

“I’m delighted more people are witnessing @Oprah’s terrible truth. McGowan, a major #MeToo and Time’s Up activist, added, “I wish she was real, but she isn’t.”

“She is as false as they come, from being friends with Weinstein to leaving and trashing Russell Simmon’s [sic] victims, she is about maintaining a corrupt power structure for personal benefit. McGowan added, “#lizard.”

Among the hundreds of women who have come forward to accuse disgraced Hollywood mogul and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein of sexual abuse, the actor was one of the first.

Russell Simmons, a music mogul, has been accused of rape and sexual assault by 20 women.
