Oprah Winfrey may invite her longtime pal Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry to the Emmys.

This is due to the fact that Oprah’s explosive interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which aired in March, has been nominated for the award for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.

The organisers of the awards contacted Harry and Meghan last week, according to the Guardian UK.

However, the Television Academy issued a statement saying that “nominated teams of three or more will now be limited to no more than four tickets per nomination.

Unfortunately, this means that not all of this year’s nominees will be able to attend the awards. With only four seats available, Oprah must decide whether she will invite the Sussexes, her beloved crew, or her family.

The interview sent shockwaves through the Palace as Harry and Meghan made a series of allegations against the royal family, ranging from racism to denying Meghan help when she felt suicidal.
