Humaira Channa shares some flashback with Madam Noor Jahan

Pakistan 6 Nigar Award-winning film playback singer Humaira Channa has won the 3rd most Nigar Awards in history, ranked only after Noor Jehan and Mehnaz.

She is inspired by her father who is a filmmaker by profession his work makes Channa got interested in the entertainment industry. She first sang for her father’s film at the age of nine.

Then she was given an opportunity to sing folk songs of Sufi Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai on Pakistani television. She sings in Urdu, Punjabi, Saraiki, and Sindhi languages. She has sung over a thousand songs in her career until 2016.

Recently she appeared in the show and shared an incredible moment of her life when she got appreciation from Malika-e-Taranum Noor Jahan. Humaira said that looking at the personality of Noor Jahan it can be said that she deserves all the respect and love that she got.

Humaira said that when she met Noor Jahan at that, her Milli Naghma “Wafain Sari Duain Sari” used to air on television. She met Noor Jahan in Evernew Studio, and Noor Jahan appreciated her a lot. She even remembered her song and appreciated Humaira to the fullest.
