Sean Penn, 32-year junior Leila George file for divorce after one year of marriage

Leila George, an Australian actress, is said to have filed for divorce from actor Sean Penn in a Los Angeles court on Friday.

According to rumors, Vincent D’Onofrio’s daughter, Leila, 26, has filed divorce papers against her father, the 61-year-old Mystic River star.

Penn and George started dating in 2016 and married in July of the following year. In August of last year, the actor discussed his “COVID wedding” on Late Night With Seth Meyers, flaunting his wedding band on the talk program.

“By that, I mean it was a county commissioner on Zoom and we were at the house, my two children and her brother, and we did it that way,” the actor revealed.

Sean Penn was previously married to Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010, with whom he has two daughters, and to Madonna from 1985 to 1989.
