World’s oldest and the last woman alive to be born in the 19th century Francisca Susano died at the age of 124.

Affectionately known as “Lola”, the woman was a Filipino, and her death was confirmed by state officials.

The super centenarian’s death cause is still unknown but a few reports claim that the lady had tested positive for Covid-19 a few days back.

Susano was born in 1897, the same year when ice cream scoop and cotton candy were invented.

As per officials, she was the last surviving person who was born in the 19th century and Guinness Records were collecting the official documents to declare her the world’s oldest person alive.

But unfortunately, before the declaration, she died at her home in the Philippines.
