Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Wedding secrets revealed
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle stated today that she will look into labels and preconceptions “that aim to hold women back”, for the series.
Meghan Markle has announced the release of her own solo podcast this summer.
During episodes of Archetypes, she’ll host and interview specialists and historians.
In late 2020, the streaming behemoth awarded the Sussexes a sizable sum.
However, The Sun reported in January 2022 that Spotify was taking the project “into its own hands” when the couple’s content failed to materialize.
A “full-scale” debut of performances was first anticipated for 2021.
However, the year passed without any new information.
The bosses then intervened and began hiring in-house personnel to assist.
So far, Harry and Meghan have only released a 35-minute ‘holiday special’ in December 2020, which will include celebrity buddies Elton John and James Corden.
This implies they’ve been paid £500,000 per minute of material thus far.
Things appeared to be heading in the wrong direction two months ago, when the couple was pressured to cancel their mega-deal when US broadcaster Joe Rogan accused Spotify of airing anti-jab material.
Instead, they chose to stay with the firm, informing supporters that they were “dedicated to ensuring that reforms to its platform are made to assist solve this public health catastrophe.”
“So a confirmed liar is now sure nobody else is lying?” said TV firebrand Piers Morgan, referring to the move. Beyond parody.
In a trailer for Meghan’s series, which was released today, the mum-of-two said: “This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls, and how the media reflects women back to us… but where do these stereotypes come from?
“And how do they keep showing up and defining our lives?”
The duchess, previewing the type of guests who will feature, adds: “This is Archetypes – the podcast where we dissect, explore, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.
“I’ll have conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape our narratives.
“And I’ll talk to historians to understand how we even got here in the first place.”
