An analyst argues that the Duke of Sussex is “not yet acquainted with Hollywood celebrity society,” revealing tensions between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their retirement from royal responsibilities in January 2020 and have remained consistent in their decisions since then.
However, according to the Express, Pauline Maclaran, a professor of marketing and consumer research at Royal Holloway, says Harry was born into the “Royal Family brand,” which is “likely to cause conflicts.”
Meghan’s brand has always been built around her status as “a (previously) modest Hollywood star affiliated with the Suits brand,” according to her.
“The mix of these different brand cultures is bound to create tensions at times and certainly did when Meghan tried to be a working royal during their time in England,” she said.
The expert also discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s presentation at the NAACP Image Awards, when many opined that Harry appeared stiff on stage next to his more at ease wife.
“Harry’s uneasiness,” according to Maclaran, was a reflection of him “not yet acquainted with Hollywood celebrity society.”
In other news, a racy model is attempting to get Harry to return to the UK by offering free nudists and personal security.
Orla, who describes herself as a “sexier version of Meghan Markle,” is determined to improve the Duke of Sussex’s situation.
Harry’s legal team said in January that he will be appealing the Home Office’s decision not to offer him and his family with the “same degree” of personal protective protection when they visit the UK from their current home in the United States.
Orla, on the other hand, feels she might be able to assist.
“Prince Harry is seductive,” Orla told the Daily Star confidentially. He’s lost his wild streak since Meghan took him over the Pond, and I believe a return to his old circumstances will spark it.
“He’s always been partial to blondes, so I’m sure he’d find it difficult to resist me.”
