Who is Taylor Hawkins’ wife?

Taylor Hawkins was well known as The Foo Fighters’ drummer.

On March 25, 2022, the late singer and notable songwriter died unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife Alison and their three children.
Taylor Hawkins was married to American illustrator Alison Hawkins, his long-term companion.

According to Meaww, the pair married in 2005 and apparently lived in Hidden Hills, California.

Taylor was well-known for keeping his personal life quiet, and nothing is known about Alison and her life.

However, she was mentioned in the band’s song ‘I Really Blew It’ from the album ‘Get the Money’ in 2019.

Taylor told the Sydney Herald at the time, “I married Alison Hawkins in 2005.” We have three kids.

“On ‘Get the Money,’ there’s a song called ‘I Really Blew It,’ which is for men who believe they can win an argument with their wife!”

Taylor has mentioned that his family has been an inspiration for his music, including his current album, throughout his career.

In 2019, he disclosed that the song Middle Child was inspired by his 13-year-old daughter Annabelle.

“At the time, my daughter was saying, ‘You have to have a song for me!'” he told Joe Daly. ‘Well, I don’t know,’ I said. You’re the middle kid, and you’re acting like one right now, vying for attention and favour.’

“‘Which I get because Shane is always in trouble and the baby’s [daughter Everleigh] adorable as f**k, so you’re caught in the midst.”

“But you’re also like my twin.” She truly is. So I figured, Why not simply call the tune Middle Child?”

What did Taylor Hawkins’ family have to say about his death?

Following Taylor’s untimely death, the Foo Fighters sought privacy for his “wife, children, and family.”

On March 25, the other members of the band issued a united statement on Twitter, saying they were “devastated” by Hawkins’ “untimely passing.” Hawkins was 50 years old.

“His musical passion and contagious humour will live on with us forever,” the Foo Fighters said in a statement.

“Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we respectfully request that their privacy be respected during this unbearably painful time.”

Not quickly after the news surfaced, condolences began pouring in from Taylor’s admirers and contemporaries, including Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, and others.

“My heartfelt sympathies, love, and condolences go out to his wife, children, family, band, and fans. Ozzy, I’ll see you on the other side.”

Billy, 66, agreed, tweeting a photo of the Texas native and writing: “It’s very awful. Taylor, rest in peace.”

Meanwhile, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine posted a photo of himself and Taylor on Twitter, writing: “Taylor Hawkins, I salute you. I admired your enthusiasm as well as your unstoppable rock force. My buddy, may you rest in peace.”
