Iyanna ‘Yaya’ Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, pled guilty to stabbing love rival Lapratta Jacobs in 2020, according to The Independent.

Iyanna, 21, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon in Harrison County Court on Wednesday, according to reports.

Iyanna allegedly stabbed Lapratta over a love rivalry with NBA YoungBoy, the rapper who has fathered children with both women.

After an altercation at the rapper’s house in April 2020 that left Lapratta wounded, she was arrested.

Iyanna stabbed Lapratta twice with two separate knives, according to reports at the time, leaving her hospitalised. She was arrested and held for a short time before being released on a $30,000 bail.

“The arrangement asks for Iyanna to be on deferred adjudication for a period of 6 years after which she will have no criminal conviction and the matter will be dropped,” Iyanna’s attorney Kent Schaffer told The Independent.

“Pending her good behaviour, she is eligible to have the deferred adjudication cease after two years.” “We decided this was the safest resolution for Iyanna since we feel she was protecting herself after being attacked,” he continued.
