According to an informant, the Queen reportedly fired her son Charles’ nanny for refusing to comply with her requests for a “special pudding.”
Nannies have long been an important part of The Firm’s existence, caring for the youngsters while members of the Royal Family do their official duties.

However, spending so much time with the royals may lead to awful things happening, as the Queen learned when she was forced to let one go, according to The Mirror.

The horrific event was told by royal author Bryan Kozlowski in his book Long Live the Queen! 13 Living Rules from Britain’s Longest Reigning Monarch

Bryan said that the nanny was too picky about the eight-year-old Charles’ food for the Monarch’s liking.

He says, ” “She was reported to enjoy torturing the Palace cook with her rigorous standards.

“Dishes for little Charles were frequently rejected or recreated based on nothing more than the nanny’s preferences.

“Eventually, the Queen had had enough and sacked her.”

But, according to the author, one episode in particular was the last straw for the Queen – and it revolved around a “special pudding.”

“In 1956, the Queen sent the nursery a modest request that Charles, then eight years old, be fed a particular pudding she thought he would appreciate,” says Kozlowski.

“[The nanny] refused, crossed the dessert off the menu, and drew the wrath of the Crown.” Nobody crosses out Queen Elizabeth’s request.”
