While many familiar faces were there at Wrestlemania 38 over the weekend. Cena was absent because he was in New Mexico filming his upcoming feature, Coyote vs. ACME. While Cena was unable to attend the event, he did sent a message to express his condolences.

In a post he wrote:

Cena has been busy with his Hollywood career. However his last appearance in the WWE arena was at SummerSlam in late August. When he was defeated by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. In September, he was also seen teaming up with The Mysterios at the SmackDown show from Madison Square Garden.

In terms of next ventures, the actor will appear in Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle opposite Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, and others. He’s also set to direct the final instalments of the Fast and Furious franchise. Cena will also return for a second season of Peacemaker, though a release date has yet to be determined.
