The news that BTS’ Jimin will be releasing an OST for the omnibus drama ‘Our Blues,’ starring Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, and others, sent the internet into a frenzy. It will be a collaborative tune with one of Jimin’s closest friends, Ha Sung Woon, according to more facts.
Fans expected another wonderful number from soloist Ha Sung Woon, who has previously collaborated on many OSTs. ‘With You’ was released amid an outpouring of love for the two vocal talents from all around the world. The moving music had meaningful lyrics and a melody that enabled the characters’ emotions show on screen while still fitting in seamlessly.
Ha Sung Woon spoke candidly with his followers about how the cooperation came about. He added that he had intended to sing a duet with OST Queen Punch, who is famed for her songs ‘Everytime’ and ‘Stay With Me,’ for the drama ‘Our Blues,’ which was then in the works. However, the production firm asked if the singer’s buddy Jimin would be interested in joining the OST lineup. Jimin inquired whether the BTS member wanted to perform an OST but couldn’t get along with the rest of his group, and if the song was with Ha Sung Woon. Despite his initial aversion to collaborating on an OST, Jimin accepted because it involved a cooperation with the vocalist of “Fall in You.”
They’ve been buddies since before their debuts and have continued to support each other throughout the years. This only gives us more incentive to listen to ‘With You’ and love their vocals.
