Camila Cabello sang her heart out Saturday to kick off the Union of European Football Associations’ 2022 Champions League Final.
Camila Cabello has criticised ‘rude’ football fans for booing her during the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday at the Stade de France in Paris. The event’s warm-up act, the 25-year-old diva, expressed her dissatisfaction in a now-deleted tweet in which she emphasised how hard her crew worked to ‘give a good show.’
The 25-year-old singer rushed to Twitter shortly after leaving the pitch to blame Liverpool and Real Madrid fans for drowning out her nearly six-minute start. “Playing back our performance and I can’t believe people were singing their team’s anthem so loud during our performance. Like my team and i worked tirelessly for so long to bring right vibes and give a good show,” Cabello wrote as per Page Six. In a follow-up post five minutes later, Camila added, “Very rude but whatever. IM GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT!!!!!
Both tweets have since been deleted, but in response to photographs posted by the Don’t Go Yet singer on Sunday morning — which appeared to be taken while she was watching Real Madrid score the game-winning goal — a number of fans voiced their opinions on the brawl. Her performance, which included a mash-up of favourites including Senorita, Havana, and Bam Bam, was reportedly still enthralling to some.
Camila was supported by a bevvy of dancers who used traditional Spanish fans and large flags during the stunning spectacle. Brightly dressed musicians beat the drums as they circled the American-Cuban star while pyrotechnics filled the sky. The pop queen oozed confidence as she moved sensuously and sang passionately into the camera.
