Dua Lipa revealed that she was on the verge of quitting her music career due to online abuse.

According to Mirror Magazine, the Love Again singer discussed battling self-doubt after receiving messages from trolls online in an interview with The Sun.

“There were moments of self-doubt,” the 26-year-old told the outlet, “even though it was kind of unfair because a lot of the people who had sent those messages or were saying things online actually hadn’t been to one of my shows.”

“Social media is run on this toxic currency of who can make people laugh at the expense of others,” the singer continued.

Lipa went on to say that online abuse no longer bothers her, saying, “Now, if anybody says anything, it doesn’t even bother me.”
