On Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to the Texas school shooting site in Uvalde.
According to a statement released by Meghan Markle’s spokesman, she went on the trip in her “personal capacity as a mother” to help the people in their time of “unimaginable sadness.”
Angela Levin, a British royal biographer, chastised Meghan Markle for being “surrounded by cameras” during her visit.
She added, “How come there were six photographers around her and she was standing watching them. If she hadn’t expected them why didn’t she tell them to go away.”
During Meghan Markle’s visit to the school, there was no sign that she was accompanied by many photographers and cameramen.
Meghan’s portrait was taken by photographers and cameramen who were either members of the media or private civilians.
