Harry Styles and James Corden Film Low-Budget “Daylight” Music Video in Fans’ Apartment

Harry Styles and James Corden have just created a music video that is truly magical. They shot a handmade video for “Daylight” from Styles’ new “Harry’s House” album with three hours to spare and $300 in their pockets. Although the initiative was ambitious, Styles told the audience that he was not the one who devised the challenge. He playfully informed the cameras, “I can’t stress this enough, this was all James’s idea.”

The location is the most vital aspect of any great music video, which Corden and Styles were definitely missing. They asked to shoot in strangers’ apartments as they roamed the streets of Brooklyn, NY, receiving a few surprising denials until a group of four young ladies ultimately agreed to let them take over their place. The girls began raiding their rooms for appropriate props and enlisting the help of friends to act as extras in the movie. “We’re filming a music video with Harry Styles,” it’s hard to believe, and the place was soon full with people, glow sticks, hand-cut confetti, and whatever else Corden could come up with.

“I want this to be, just like, sexy as f*ck,” Corden told Styles as he made him sit in the apartment’s bathtub. Styles was a great sport the entire day, but he did have his doubts at times. “Should we just scrap it? Is it too late to just do a ‘Carpool Karaoke’?” he asked from the comfort of the girls’ bathroom. Corden had much more enthusiasm. “This is rock and roll, guys! This is rock. And. Roll,” he proudly said.
