On April 22, Harry Styles thanked his fans for returning his beloved accessory, which had gone missing during his second weekend of headlining the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival.
On May 19, while performing live on the Today Show, the Watermelon Sugar singer explained how the Gucci ring ended up in his possession.
Last month, the As It Was singer, 28, lost his $350 Gucci lion head ring when it slipped off his finger and into the crowd while performing at Coachella.
A group of concertgoers claimed to have found the accessory and set up a Twitter account called @heresharrysring to assist Styles in reuniting with his favourite accessory.
The social media account posted photos of fans reaching out to Styles, and on May 15, the account declared that the ring was back in Styles’ possession.
On Wednesday evening, Styles confirmed the news himself. Styles explained how the reunion came about to hosts Savannah Guthrie, Carson Daly, and Hoda Kotb.
“I believe some of the fans got in touch with someone who found it on the field,” he explained, “and I received it back yesterday.”
Styles shared a photo of the ring with a caption on his Instagram stories “IT HATH RETURNED. THANK YOU.”
Styles reunited with his ring just days before the release of his third studio album, Harry’s House, which is set to be released today, May 20.
