Helen Skelton hired private investigator for husband Richie Myler

After becoming concerned of her husband Richie Myler’s actions, Helen Skelton hired a private investigator. She confirmed on social media last month that her relationship with star, had ended.

It was revealed last week that he had already established a new relationship with Stephanie Thirkill,  just weeks after the marriage ended.

Helen, on the other hand, had suspected cheating and hired a private investigator to help her find out the truth.

Stephanie’s estranged husband Richard Sugden, who live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, has subsequently called her to share notes on the relationship’s timeline.

We can also tell that Richie met Stephanie last autumn at a rugby supper, when Helen was six months pregnant and had to leave early.

Stephanie, the daughter of Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, who is worth £175 million, had asked for a photo with the pair earlier in the evening, and they consented.

Richie’s new partner claims they only started dating after he divorced Helen, with whom he has three children aged six, five, and four months.

Helen’s friend said, “She felt something was amiss in her relationship with Richie.

“Hiring a private investigator was the last thing she wanted to do, but she was left with no choice as she needed to know the truth.

“Emotions are running high and the most important thing to Helen is looking after her three children and making sure they’re OK during the difficult split.”

Despite the chance of working alongside Richie, Helen is focused on returning to presenting Channel 4’s upcoming rugby league coverage.

Helen and Richie, a former Blue Peter presenter, have been together since 2011 and married in December 2013.

Richie joined the Catalan Dragons in 2015, and they went to France.

Helen said, “The loneliness was crushing.”

“Marriages are not all plain sailing but we approach it like teamwork.”
