In a recent talk show, Jennifer Lawrence revealed how she used to pretend to be interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres in the restroom before becoming a Hollywood star.
During a phone interview with DeGeneres on The Ellen Show, the Hunger Games heroine confessed her ambition to be “famous enough so that she would be interviewed by the likes of the host.”
The Ellen actress joked that it was incredible that her fantasy had come true.
“To be in Kentucky, sitting on the toilet pretending to be interviewed by somebody, then wind up becoming a big superstar, and now being interviewed talking about sitting on a toilet pretending to be interviewed,” DeGeneres said.
The presenter mentioned that many people had similar dreams but did not grow up to be renowned.
“Yeah, I mean, I worked pretty hard on that. Perhaps that is the lesson: take your time. “Don’t rush it,” Lawrence said.
Meanwhile, when DeGeneres was asked whether there were any other prominent hosts except her, the Joy actress said, “Oprah certainly.” A touch of David Letterman. But I was captivated by your presentation. So it was you almost every time.”
