As the youngest solo headliner in the history of the Glastonbury Festival, Billie Eilish will make history on Friday night when she performs on the Pyramid Stage.

Along with her brother and writing partner Finneas O’Connell, the 20-year-old Grammy-winning vocalist will perform.

The US pop diva performed on the Other Stage at Glastonbury for the first time in 2019 and sang a number of songs for the crowd, including Bad Guy and You Should See Me In A Crown.

Eilish has performed a number of UK and European tour dates in the weeks preceding Glastonbury. She also presented a climate event at London’s O2 Arena called Overheated.

She also played the main stage at Coachella in the US in April, inviting special guests Khalid and Damon Albarn for a performance that delighted audience members and critics.

Met Office meteorologist Greg Dewhurst told the PA news agency: “It’s going to be a fairly cloudy start to the morning, there is going to be a few showers around but on the light side generally so a bit of a cloudy damp start to the day but quite a warm start with temperatures around 16C.

“It does look like it will get drier and brighter as the morning goes on.
