He previously disclosed in 2011 that he had to split up with his then-girlfriend due to his tight work commitments. He also revealed that he re-enacted his life narrative for the music video for ‘The Smile in Wine.’

Hyun Joong has spoken up about his problems with his ex-girlfriend and the reasons for his inactivity. The singer revealed that they were both mistaken in their relationship as a pair.
