  • Jurassic World Dominion opens this weekend.
  • Chris Pratt is back in theaters after a year away from the franchise.

Chris Pratt is due to portray Mario in Illumination’s CG film, which will be released next year, and he’s also poised to play Garfield in the near future. (To both of them, yes, seriously.)

While his first major high-profile role was in the first Lego Movie, Pratt’s voice work predates that. He got his start in 2008 with an episode of The Batman, and since then, he’s done voices for Ben 10, Star Wars (he played Obi-Wan in the Kinect game), and more recently, the Lego and Pixar films.

Is he an effective voice actor? That’s entirely a matter of personal preference, but given how perplexing his Mario and Garfield castings have been, let’s have some fun with this. We’d want to hear who you believe the Marvel actor should play next, and it may be as appropriate or bizarre as you like.

I believe we would have had him to voice Han Solo for something if Solo hadn’t occurred, but I also believe we aren’t far from hearing him play Woody in a Lightyear-alike for Tom Hanks’ cowboy, or a DC Comics character. (I’m sorry, y’all, but I think Nightwing is the most probable option, given WB’s aversion to the concept of Hal Jordan having a big role outside of comics.)

So, who do you think Chris Pratt should do voiceover work for next? We all know he’s not going to stop at a plumber and a slacker cat.
