Jennifer Lopez has admitted to ‘losing herself’ following her divorce from Marc Anthony

• Jennifer Lopez discussed how she suffered as an artist after “losing” herself during her divorce from Marc Anthony.
• The Marry Me actor married the singer-songwriter in 2004 and divorced ten years and two children later in 2014.
• Now, in her recently released documentary Halftime, JLo discusses how she felt undervalued as an artist following her divorce from her then-husband.

“I was divorced when my kids were three years old,” the actor-singer stated in the film, “and I was a single parent with two small children.”

“As an artist, I lost a little bit of who I was while striving to establish an ideal family life,” she continued.”

Lopez, who is now engaged to Ben Affleck, went on to say, “At 42, movie jobs were not banging on my door, and when I returned to work, I didn’t know where my worth lay.”

The On The Floor singer resumed her romance with Affleck last year after they called it quits in January 2004.

In April of this year, the pair became engaged for the second time.
