According to reports, Johnny Depp will appear in court with his lawyer Camille Vasquez to address claims that he assaulted a staff worker.

With Vasquez and Ben Chew leading his legal team, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor recently won his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard.

She is expected to represent the 58-year-old in his future court appearance, according to sources.

Depp is accused of assaulting City of Lies crew member Gregg ‘Rocky’ Brooks while on site in 2017, according to a personal injury lawsuit filed by the location manager.

Depp, on the other hand, has claimed that Brooks ‘provoked’ others on set and that his actions were in self-defense.

Brooks said in the legal documents that his acts were ‘deliberate and malicious’ and done ‘for the purpose of’ embarrassing him, and that his alcohol and rage caused a ‘hostile, abusive, and unhealthy’ work environment.

He further stated that after refusing to sign a release waiver addressing his right to sue, he was eventually sacked from the film.

The trial is set to begin on July 25, although it’s unclear whether cameras will be permitted in the courtroom following Depp’s livestreamed trial against Heard on YouTube.
