Kangana Ranaut reacted to an earlier remark made by   regarding her. During a function in Mumbai in 2019, Rekha raved about Kangana, saying that if she had a daughter, she would have been like Kangana. Kangana responded to the old statement by calling it the “best compilation” she has ever gotten.

Kangana presented Rekha with a special award during the Marathi Gaurav event in Mumbai in 2019. Kangana even donned a saree given to her by Rekha. Rekha was all praise for Kangana when she won the award, saying that the actor is the one person she loves and appreciates the most. In addition, Rekha stated, “If I had a daughter, she would have been like Kangana.”

Kangana Ranaut on Rekha’s statement about her.

Rekha has acted in many successful films, including Gulzar’s Ijaazat (1987), Shashi Kapoor’s Utsav (1985), Muzaffar Ali’s Umrao Jaan (1980), and Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Khubsoorat (1979). Super Nani was her most recent lead role.

Kangana made her acting debut in the 2006 flick Gangster. The film, directed by Anurag Basu, was a success, and Kangana received the Filmfare Award for a best female debut that year. Kangana followed Gangster with roles in Woh Lamhe and Life in a Metro before landing Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, for which she won her first National Film Award for best female actor in a supporting role in 2008.
