Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reunited for the benefit of their eldest daughter to watch her playing a basketball game – while keeping their current relationships off the court.

The 41-year-old reality personality and the 45-year-old rap sensation married in 2007 and have four children together, the eldest of whom is nine-year-old daughter North.

Kanye hesitated to let go of his wife, and he repeatedly lashed out at her and her new partner Pete Davidson, 28, online as their marriage crumbled.

On Friday, though, the delighted parents put on a brave front as they sat close together to watch North dribble and shoot hoops.

The outlet reports: “[Kim and Kanye were snapped] looking on as North does her thing with her team. They weren’t even that far apart – just a row back from one another, in very close proximity.

“Eyewitnesses tell us they did speak from time to time throughout the evening, and appeared to be cordial.

“Neither parent made a big scene by cheering or much of anything else … we’re told they looked like they were just trying to lay low and just watch North together.”

It’s not the first time Kim and Kanye have pretended to be brave for their children’s sake.

In March, the couple gathered to see their six-year-old son Saint play football, and spectators remarked that Kim and Kanye were ‘peacefully co-parenting.’

Pete, Kim’s current boyfriend, was noticeably absent from both athletic events, despite the fact that the two have been largely inseparable since going public with their romance at the beginning of the year.

The couple is said to have started dating in October, only weeks after Kim appeared on Saturday Night Live, where Pete is a comic.

Kanye is claimed to be upset that his younger love rival has been spending time with his children, including three-year-old son Psalm and four-year-old daughter Chicago.

A source told earlier this month: “For Pete and the kids to get so close, so fast, is deeply unsettling for Kanye. It’s really difficult seeing photos of them together everywhere he goes, and he just wishes things were different.”

Kanye, on the other hand, has toned down since openly berating Pete for weeks earlier this year, including ‘killing and burying him’ in a grim music video.

Kim unfollowed Kanye after his social media attacks on Pete in February of this year, and even publicly urged the Donda rapper to tone down his actions.
