Sushmita Sen recently chatted with Twinkle Khanna on her YouTube channel about relationships, guys, and terrible mistakes. Sushmita spoke up about mistakes’ in her life during the interview, claiming that she never ‘bullsh*t’ about them.
Sushmita separated from her partner Rohman Shawl, whom she met over Instagram DMs in 2018. In the same year, they were first seen together at Shilpa Shetty’s Diwali celebration. They have remained pals since.
When asked about Sushmita’s openness about her romances, Twinkle recalled a time when “renowned men claimed to be virgins” and praised the former Miss Universe for being more open about her personal life. Sushmita responded on Tweak India, saying, “If you lose yourself you are nothing that’s been my standard belief in life. Be it plastic surgery, men in my life, relationships, married men–whatever you think is a bad thing, it exists.”
Sushmita added, “Tumhara dimaag chota hain, tumhara dil chota hain, samne wala insaan chota nahin hain. Tumhe kya lagta hain humne koi galtiyain nahi ki life me? Daba ke kiya hai. Danke ki chot pe kiya hai (It’s not the person who is small, but others’ mindset and heart. You think we have not made any mistake in life? We have done plenty.) I don’t carry any guilt about them, because I never bullsh*t about them.”
Sushmita entered the entertainment industry after winning Miss India and Miss Universe in 1994. She began her cinematic career a few years later. She was most recently seen in the Hotstar serial Aarya. She won the Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Actress Female for her performance in the first season of the show. She hasn’t appeared in a Hindi film in almost a decade.
