Ted Lasso is one of Apple TV Plus’s most popular shows.
The third season is reportedly being written as if it will be the final one.
It’s unclear when the show will return; co-creator Jason Sudeikis has spoken about a three-season arc.
The third season of Ted Lasso is being written as if it will be the final one, according to Brett Goldstein, who plays the foul-mouthed Roy Kent and writes for the program (via Variety). “We are writing it like that,”,” he explained. “It was planned as three. Spoiler alert — everyone dies.”
Ted Lasso is Apple TV Plus’s most popular show, but it’s unclear when it’ll stop. According to Variety, Ted Lasso co-creator and actor Jason Sudeikis has spoken about the three-season narrative. He told Entertainment Weekly, “That three-season arc is one that I see, know, and understand.” It’s also unknown when the third season will launch, but it appears to be later than the previous two, which debuted in August and July, respectively.
A request for comment from Apple was not immediately returned. While you’re waiting for Ted Lasso to return, I’d suggest checking out the fantastic Severance, which has a very different tone. Check out Mythic Quest, which has been renewed for a third and fourth season, for something a little lighter.
