An Assamese actor Kishor Das appeared in popular television programmes including Bidhata, Bandhum, and Nedekha Fagun passed away after a protracted battle with cancer.

The 30-year-old actor’s sudden death has disappointed his admirers all throughout the nation.
Since March, Kishor had been receiving care at a hospital in Chennai. He reportedly had Covid-19 at the time of his death, reports.

Kishor’s final rituals were done in Chennai due to the pandemic regulations in place, as his remains could not be transferred to his hometown of Assam.

Social media is flooded with condolence posts from both fans and well-known figures. The Assam government’s minister of agriculture, Atul Bora, expressed his sorrow at Kishor’s passing on Twitter.

“Deeply saddened by the premature death of well-known actor Kishor Das. While he was receiving treatment in Guwahati, I went to see him. I never imagined he would leave us so quickly. I offer the deceased’s family and friends my sympathies and ask for God to grant him rest in his soul “tweets from Bora.

In the Assamese television industry, Kishor is a well-known figure. Additionally, he has appeared in several music videos. One of the most popular songs in the area is his song Turut Turut.

Kishor shared a touching note on Instagram a few weeks ago in which he discussed his failing health.
