Helen Skelton feels ‘betrayed’ by prospect that her friends know about new relationship of Richie Myler

Helen Skelton, of Strictly Come Dancing and Countryfile fame is reportedly devastated by the prospect that her pals knew about the new relationship of Richie Myler but failed to notify her.

In a brief statement, a startled and saddened Helen announced the dissolution of her eight-year marriage to the Leeds Rhinos player, telling fans: “Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home .”

Elsie Kate, the couple’s youngest child, was only four months old when they separated in April. In addition, they have two kids, Ernie, seven, and Louis, five.

An international news agency said that just a few weeks following the breakup, Richie began a new relationship with a mysterious woman. The woman was eventually identified as Stephanie Thirkill, 32, daughter of Leeds Rhinos President Andrew Thirkill.

Richie’s friends reported at the time that he had lately seen the young businesswoman multiple times and that they were in the earliest stages of a relationship.

A source stated, “Richie appears to have been spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman.”

“Meanwhile, Helen feels betrayed that some of their friends possibly already knew [Richie and his girlfriend] were together before she did, and they didn’t let her know,” the insider said.

According to one source, while Helen was caught off guard by Richie’s departure, she had already seen warning signs in their marriage.

“Helen has known something hasn’t been right in the marriage for a while now,” the insider said.
