In its eighth week, Kantara broke another weekly box office record in India, this time surpassing Gadar’s previous mark of 21 years.

In its eighth week, the movie made approximately Rs. 12.70 crores, surpassing Gadar’s Rs. 7 crores. Beginning with week five, the movie has four weekly records, matching Baahubali 2, which has the first four.

The collection decline from the prior week was the largest in the current run, but it was still less than 50%. The movie’s total box office receipts have topped Rs. 357 crores in India, with an additional Rs. 33 crores coming from abroad, bringing the global total to Rs. 390 crores, roughly.
