Tindall, a former England rugby player, said, “It’s mostly staterooms and living space.” Warner asked Tindall if he can “walk downstairs in joggers and a t-shirt” the next morning or if he must wear a suit.

Tindall said, “Jeans and a tee.” Warner wondered if Tindall realized Zara was a princess when they met.

Tindall: “Yes, since she’s Princess Anne’s daughter.” Princess Anne supports Scottish rugby. When he and Zara began dating, he wasn’t anxious to meet the royals since “we were friends first.”

Tindall said, “[Prince] William and [Prince] Harry were huge English fans at the time, so we’d met them numerous times. So I met more of the family than you would normally meet of the woman you start dating.”

Tindall felt emotional after getting a message from Zara while competing in the U.K. Survival show. Tindall’s fellow contender read a letter from her family: “We miss you and need some Papa cuddles, but are delighted you’re sharing them with your campmates.”

“The girls are enjoying sports and pushing themselves into everything, and the little man is embracing life, smashing it up, learning new words,” she wrote.

Mike added in a separate interview, taped independently, that hearing from Zara and the kids was “wonderful.” The camera cut back to him wiping his eye. Mia, 8, Lena, 4, and Lucas, 20 months, are Mike and Zara’s children.
