Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale is critically ill at hospital in Pune

Actor Vikram Gokhale, who is best known for his roles in Marathi theatre and Hindi movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, is in critical condition at a hospital in Pune.

This week, veteran actor Vikram Gokhale, who has done a lot of work in both Hindi and Marathi movies, was hospitalised in Pune. Reports say that he is still in very bad shape. Even though the hospital hasn’t given any official updates on his health, reports say that it has gotten worse in the last few days.

The news agency PTI said on Wednesday night that the actor had been taken to the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune “a few days ago.” The bulletin also said that his health is still very bad. The 77-year-old stopped doing Marathi theatre in 2016 because of problems with his throat. But it’s not clear if that illness has anything to do with why he’s in the hospital now.

Navshakti, a Marathi news site, says that he was taken to the hospital a few days ago and that his condition has been stable since then. But the report said that his condition has been getting worse again over the past few days, and he is still in critical condition. No information about his illness has been made public, and neither his family nor the hospital have said anything about it yet.

Vikram Gokhale is known for his roles on screen and on stage. At the age of 26, he made his film debut in Parwana, which starred Amitabh Bachchan. Most people know him from movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Agneepath, and Khuda Gawah. He has played many roles in Hindi and Marathi movies, and in 2010 he won the National Award for Best Actor for his role in the Marathi movie Anumati. In 2010, he made his first movie as a director. It was a Marathi movie called Aaghaat.
