Adivi Sesh, a Telugu actor, had a fantastic year in 2022 thanks to the successes of Major and HIT 2. Adivi revealed in an exclusive Performers of 2022 interview that he was frustrated when filming the Major movie’s conclusion since the set was being damaged owing to a Bollywood film’s shoot.

Major was the actor’s most challenging project to date because it tells the heroic tale of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a martyr who died protecting others during the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The film’s compelling plot and goosebumps-inducing performance won it praise from both reviewers and viewers.

Adivi Sesh began by describing his remarkable experience filming Major and how difficult it was to shoot the conclusion. As they ripped down the sets, he remembered shooting the conclusion, saying, “The studio where we were filming had been reserved for a Bollywood movie. And it was delayed because I became ill while we were shooting in the fire.

When they had to start filming, the studio crew began dismantling the sets as I sat there covered in blood, attempting to fight. Hammers were slamming, and our assistant directors were frantically telling us to start shooting since it was the climax. There was this one point when we lost it because there was no way we could complete it with only eight shots remaining, 30 minutes left, and the sets being broken down. I snapped because 8 shots meant we would require at least half a day. I genuinely started crying, and our talented director Sashi told me to put all of my annoyance into the sequence and shoot it all at once. Two cameras were attached, and we took a single shot.”

The 2008 26/11 Mumbai attack claimed the life of the decorated NSG Commando, as depicted in the Sashi Kiran Tikka-directed film Major, which follows his life from boyhood till that tragic event. Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, and Prakash Raj also play significant roles in the movie.
