In Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Anthony Ramos goes on the most exciting adventure of his life.
After the success of Bumblebee in 2018, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming film. The film is expected to be the first instalment in a planned trilogy, and the trailer was released on Thursday.
According to an official synopsis, the sequel, which will be the seventh instalment in the live-action Transformers franchise, “will take audiences on a ’90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots” as it introduces “a whole new breed of Transformer, the Maximals, to the existing battle” between Autobots and Decepticons on Earth. This will be the seventh instalment in the live-action Transformers franchise.
Before getting into the plot of the movie, which takes place in Brooklyn, the trailer shows Ramos’ character getting out of a brand-new Autobot as it transforms from its car form. This gives the impression that “something else has awakened.”
The characters of Ramos and his co-star Dominique Fishback are shown as they are confronted by Ron Perlman’s Optimus Primal, who assumes the appearance of a gorilla and initiates a confrontation with Optimus Prime. Ramos also appears in this scene.
The teaser provides a glimpse of Maximals that can transform into the forms of cheetahs, hawks, and rhinos, as well as providing hints about Ramos’ character’s interactions with new Transformers.
When Ramos learned that the Maximals would be appearing in Rise of the Beasts, he stated during a press conference held in June 2021 to discuss the film that his “head almost exploded off my body.” Ramos was referring to the moment when he discovered that the Maximals would be appearing in the film.
