Armeena Rana Khan responds to pregnancy shoot trolls

Armeena Rana Khan faced criticism for posting her pregnancy shoot. Even though she told fans about a crucial portion of her pregnant journey, trolling knows no boundaries.

Haters claim that women should conceal their pregnancies and refrain from sharing photos of their stomachs on social media.

The Bin Roye actor called the keyboard warriors out and urged women to seize the initiative and publicly and stoutly embrace every facet of parenthood.

Khan replied in response to one of these haters who called the radiant pregnant woman’s photoshoot a “Hollywood copy”, Khan responded, “Hey ladies! Don’t be like [her], she is a hypocrite.”

She then released a PSA stating that she intended to tell about her delivery and all of the associated facts. “MY SPACE, not yours. If I haven’t triggered you religious fanatics enough yet, watch this space,” she added.

She concluded, “Boss, tell me one thing — when you see a pregnant woman on the streets, do you attach ghoray walay blinkers[horse blinders] or do you avert your eyes? I doubt you do either. When you have such a low mentality, your gaze follows suit.”

Armeena continued by urging other women to share their stories of parenting and other experiences and to take control of their own spaces after a supporter praised her for mustering the confidence to do so.

“Claim your space, ladies. Motherhood and all its aspects are indeed beautiful. We should discuss our experiences. Let’s lift the ‘shame’ which isn’t even Islamic by the way, but has more to do with misogyny and our oppressive culture.”
