A 10-year-old boy in Wisconsin will be charged as an adult after he allegedly killed his mother because she wouldn’t let him buy an expensive virtual reality headset from Amazon.

According to the complaint, Quiana Mann, 44, was shot in the eye at close range in her Milwaukee home on November 21. Her son, whose name has not been made public because he is a minor, is thought to have done it. According to the complaint, after the shooting, the boy tried to hide the gun and then told his older sister that their mother had died. The sister then called 911.

At about 7 a.m. on November 21, the child allegedly used Mann’s keys to get the gun out of her locked gun safe. He allegedly told detectives that he pulled out the gun because he was mad that Mann woke him up 30 minutes early and because he was mad that she wouldn’t let him buy the headset from Amazon.

The lawsuit states he entered into his mother’s Amazon account the day after the murder to purchase the headset.

The boy informed police he accidentally shot his mother, according to the complaint. He may then remain with his family. The following day, the 10-year-relatives old’s phoned the police to verify the story. The lawsuit states he informed his aunt he “actually pointed the pistol at his mother.”

In the lawsuit, the child’s family claims he’s always had “rage problems.” At age 4, the youngster reportedly twisted his puppy around until it “whined and howled in agony.” The lawsuit also states he sparked a fire in the residence by igniting a combustible balloon.

The youngster “talks to five distinct individuals in his brain,” a family member told authorities. Two sisters, an elderly lady, and two males are fabricated in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges Mann installed cameras after a therapist gave the youngster a “concerning diagnosis.” The therapist’s records support this. Someone disconnected the cameras before the shoot.

“He’s always stated he hears voices,” the child’s grandma told The Daily Beast. “We attempted to assist her,” Lueritha told the Beast. “Her friends and churchgoers. We all helped her because he was wild.”

Mental health worker Mann has four kids. According to a GoFundMe campaign her family put up to pay for her burial, Mann had a “spirit of giving” and a “passion for God that surpassed whatever sorrow she may have had.”

10-year-old accused with first-degree reckless murder, jailed on $50,000 bail. If convicted, he faces 60 years in jail.

Milwaukee police are still “investigating the deadly shooting on November 21, 2022, around 6:50 a.m.”
