Sun Zara from film Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh teaser out now
Ranveer Singh has released a teaser for the second song from Cirkus....
Cirkus Review: A pair of identical twins from Mr Roy Jamnadas’ orphanage are matched with adoptive families in several places.
The doctor, Mr Roy (Murali Sharma), is adamant about demonstrating his idea that “nurture over nature” and goes to extreme lengths to demonstrate that one’s values shape their qualities and that genetics play a minor role in this process. Joy (Varun Sharma) and Roy (Ranveer Singh) are identical twins who enjoy happy lives in Bangalore and Ooty, respectively.
However, when one pair of twins decides to travel to Ooty, where the other brothers operate a circus, things start to go awry. One of the twins is immune to electric shock, but the other, who lives in a different city, suffers greatly from it and emits electricity. Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors was adapted for the film Cirkus, which Rohit Shetty directed. Do the twins know who they really are? Is Dr Roy’s theory that “nurture over nature” supported? The core of the story is formed by these two questio ns.
There can be no doubt that the pairing of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh is lethal. Slapstick comedies are challenging to create, but Shetty consistently succeeds because he is tuned into his audience. Rohit’s speciality, which appeals to the general public, is the over-the-top settings, the vibrant palette, and the texture of the movie.
Cirkus is given life by the projection of the lovely tea estates and the unique traits of each character. Rohit never disappoints when it comes to casting. The audience feels more relatable because he is recognized for staying with his team and using the same performers often. The costume designers did everything they could to make it appear as though the movie is set in the vintage era of the 1960s, including giving Ranveer and Varun checkered jackets, polo neck t-shirts, high waist slacks, huge moustaches, and gelled hair.
The heavy hair wig, big eyebrows, and clothes worn by Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandes also work their spell. It’s amazing how quickly one situational blunder causes another. It wouldn’t be fair to discuss the present chain scenario without doing so. Yes, the sequence is reminiscent of Priyadarshan’s cult classic Hungama, but I’m curious if there’s a different method to carry out that moment. The film’s second half improves both the script and the content. It provides opportunity for belly-aching laughter.
Rohit Shetty has established a standard for himself with blockbusters like the Golmaal and Singham series, Simba, and Sooryavanshi. It’s inevitable that his new movie will be compared to these classics, yet Cirkus falls short of those standards. This is a classic Rohit Shetty movie, but shockingly, there weren’t any flying automobiles in it. You’ll want to chuckle throughout the first half of the film, with the exception of one or two scenes involving Siddharth Jadhav and Sanjay Mishra. Cirkus fell short of the audience’s expectations for a Rohit Shetty picture in terms of humor and novelty. When Murali Sharma told his story to the camera, the producers went a little too far.
When it comes to performance, Cirkus checks all the right boxes. It is praiseworthy that Ranveer Singh has the acting skill to represent two personalities in a separate way. Surprise bundle Varun Sharma effortlessly makes people laugh. The real Cirkus heroes, in my opinion, are Sanjay Mishra and Siddharth Jadhav.
The time they are on screen is never dull. Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde, both girls, convincingly portray their roles. Amazing performance by Johnny Lever as Polsan. With their comedic timing and acting prowess, Tiku Talsania, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Vijay Patkar, Vrajesh Hirjee, and Sulabha Arya steal scenes.
