Jack White is honest with Elon Musk.
In a Friday Instagram post, the 47-year-old musician criticized Twitter CEO Musk for allowing hate speech.
“How’s free speech doing, Elon?” His message included a screenshot of West’s suspended account. “You choose who gets free speech? What kind of liberal muzzles speech? Hmm….”
Musk said West’s swastika tweet violated Twitter’s rule against inciting violence.

“I see that Alex Jones doesn’t have “free speech.” These people try to make people fight and hate each other, but Trump… DOESN’T?” Last month, when Musk brought Trump back, White took down his Twitter account for Third Man Records. “Or is it because Jones is a liar and Kanye is an anti-Semitic egomaniac and they can’t give tax breaks to billionaires like Obama did?”
He also showed a screenshot of Musk’s tweet that said he wouldn’t let InfoWars host Alex Jones back on the platform because he has “no pity for anyone who would use the deaths of children for… fame.”
Continuing, “It’s interesting to see how guns, drugs, alcohol, gatherings, and speech all need to be controlled to keep people from getting hurt or destroying things. Laws are what we call them. Maybe you’re discovering how dangerous it is to let dangerous, hateful people speak on your stage.”
“Do the right thing, Elon, and don’t give hate mongers a stage,” he said. Twitter is controlled by Elon Musk, not the government.
White posted on Instagram why he left Twitter in November. At the time, he called giving the former president his account back “totally awful”
