Later that day, while still wearing their Christmas pyjamas, the “I Got the Boy” singer and Jace had to put an end to their celebrations in order to go to the doctor. Kramer stated via her Instagram Story, “We’re at the doctors, double the sickness.”

The country singer thanked her fans for their well wishes and admitted that this was the “first time I’ve ever gotten the flu.”

The kids spent December 25 with their father, Mike Caussin, thus it appears that the “Whiskey” singer observed the holiday one day later than usual. Following Caussin’s recurrent adultery, Kramer, 35, and the former NFL star were married for six years before she filed for divorce in April 2021.

The native of Michigan spoke candidly earlier this month about her Christmas plans and how the season may be challenging while coparenting.

Kramer said she and her two young children were “making it our own” this year by starting new customs, but she had anticipated it would be difficult “from the minute that I filed the divorce papers.”

She confessed in a social media post, “I was dreading this holiday. “Because I knew the first holiday I had them was Christmas Eve night, and I always knew that this one would be the first [I was alone] and it would be very difficult.”

Jolie and Jace are able to adapt to a new schedule more easily because they “don’t know what day it is,” according to the “Whine Down With Jana Kramer” podcast host.
