Kristina Wagner, who plays Harrison on General Hospital, is paying tribute to him on what would have been his 28th birthday after his tragic death earlier this year.
Harrison, Kristina Wagner’s late son, is being remembered.
On December 1—his 28th birthday—six months after his passing, the General Hospital actress wrote a moving eulogy for her and Jack Wagner’s son. Harrison’s body was discovered on June 6.
Along with a picture of herself and Harrison, Kristina tweeted, “Loving son, Harrison Hale Wagner, Dec 1, 1994-June 6, 2022,” “This picture was taken one year ago. It was a happy birthday. I’m so grateful beyond words he was in my life.”
Harrison was discovered dead on June 6 at 5 a.m. in the Los Angeles district of North Hollywood, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office previously confirmed to E! News.
Jack and Kristina, who co-starred on General Hospital for more than ten years and were married for 13 years before divorcing in 2006, established the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund in his memory after his passing.
All donations will go to New Life House, a Southern California sober living facility, where they will be “directly used to help young men pay their rent or a portion of their fee who could not otherwise afford their care at New Life House,” according to the organization’s website.
The website noted, “Harrison was a bright, exuberant young man whose smile lit up any room he was in. He has left behind many men and family members who loved him deeply.”
The message continued, “We are heartbroken that he ultimately lost his battle with addiction, and we hope that Harrison’s memory will live on through this scholarship and will help other young men get help for their addiction that would not otherwise be able to afford it.”
The eldest son of Jack and Kristina is Harrison. Peter Wagner, a 31-year-old son of the couple, shared a heartfelt remembrance of his brother following his tragic death.
