Netflix Stranger Things season 5 to be “epic and dramatic”
Shawn Levy, who makes the popular Netflix sci-fi show Stranger Things, talked about how things are going in the fifth and final season.
In a recent conversation with Collider’s Steve Weintraub about Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again, he talked about where the final season is right now and what could be expected.
Stranger Things Season 5’s writing started in August, a month after Season 4 ended.
Levy said, “Oh man, it’s going great.” “The Duffers and our writers are working hard on the scripts, and they’re coming along amazingly well.”
The people who work on the show are hoping that this last season will tie up any loose ends and answer any questions about the Upside Down that people still have.
Fans have been paying close attention to the stories of the characters since Season 1.
Levy said that fans and creators will feel a lot of highs as they say goodbye to Hawkins, Indiana:
“I know that Brothers already hinted at this publicly, but when we sat there and heard the two-hour-long pitch-out for the storyline of this final season, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room by the time the brothers were done… so yeah, this last season will be both epic and very emotional.”
He went on further “I think making it will be pretty damn emotional, too, since this show has changed the life of every one of us who have worked on it. Anyway, writing is going really well, and we can’t wait to head into production next year.”
