New ‘Emily in Paris’ photo shows cast in front of Eiffel Tower

Emily in Paris is getting ready for its third season of hot romance, controversies, and glittering social media accounts. The programme chronicles the journey of vivacious, full-of-life marketing executive Emily (Lily Collins) as she makes the big move from Chicago to Paris in an effort to live the life of her dreams. Within a few weeks, Emily must balance a quickly developing romance, new friendships, and a tense relationship with her new boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).

The ensemble came together in front of Paris’ Iron Lady, the Eiffel Tower, in anticipation of the comedy’s return to Netflix. On a terrace with a picture-perfect view of the monument behind them, the ensemble is posing for photos in celebration of the film’s global premiere, exuding high fashion in spades. Collins, who appears completely in character, is seated across from her current on-screen beau, Lucien Laviscount, and across from her childhood loves, Lucas Bravo. In a reference to the idea that tourist season has actually ended, Netflix also released a behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot that shows off the cast’s incredible chemistry as they parade around the Eiffel Tower.

After two seasons of seeing Emily and Gabriel negotiate a will-they-won’t-they romance in the City of Love, the couple ultimately caved into their inhibitions, drawing harsh criticism from Camille, Emily’s best friend from France and Gabriel’s ex-girlfriend (Camille Razat). As if things weren’t confusing enough, Emily has a chance encounter with handsome British banker Alfie, whose appearance twists her complicated love triangle into… a square? The new season of the show will begin with Emily juggling her feelings for both men while still trying to pursue a relationship with Alfie, leaving viewers to wonder who she will ultimately choose.

The second key unanswered question relates to two significant employment possibilities that Emily was given in the latter moments of the second season. While Emily has been offered a significant promotion if she returns to Chicago, she has also been given the chance to work with Sylvie at her new company in the wake of Savoir’s demise. Whatever she decides, season three will undoubtedly be filled with drama.
