Today, Keanu Reeves spoke with admirers in Brazil about his forthcoming return to the title role in Chad Stahelski’s much awaited John Wick: Chapter 4. A brand-new poster for the next action movie was revealed to CCXP attendees during the panel, which also featured Collider’s own Steve Weintraub and Erick Massoto. Reeves’ stage persona, Baba Yaga, and brand-new artwork of him as the movie’s title character are depicted on the poster.

Gunfights, ass-kicking canines, and the terrifying revelation that there is only “one way out” and “no way back” are just a few of the perilous situations that the gun-fu master Baba Yaga will encounter in John Wick: Chapter 4. Which, if you stop to think about it, is a rather sinister notion to propose while John Wick’s future is still much in doubt. Wick is slated to reprise the character in the Ana de Armas-directed spinoff movie Ballerina, where he will star with Ian McShane, Anjelica Houston, and Lance Reddick, though it is unknown if he will survive his own titular picture. This news was first reported a few weeks ago.

Ian McShane will reprise his roles as Winston and Lance Reddick as Charon in John Wick: Chapter 4, along with newcomers Bill Skarsgrd, who portrays the villain The Marquis, Shamier Anderson, who plays The Tracker, and Clancy Brown, who plays The Harbinger. Shimazu (Hiroyuki Sanada) and Caine (Donnie Yen) will also square battle in the fourth movie. Additionally, Reeves will work with Laurence Fishburne once more as Bowery King, his previous Matrix co-star. Scott Adkins, Natalia Tena, and Rina Sawayama are additional cast members.

Stahelski’s outstanding action series is expanding quickly, and there are more spinoffs in development besides Ballerina. Although a date for the Continental offshoot series’ debut has not yet been determined, Peacock and Prime Video will host the global launch. Colin Woodell plays the younger Winston in the series, which will focus on his life in the 1970s as he takes over the hotel that serves as the hub of the John Wick universe.
