Godfather of Harlem season 03, which is expected to premiere on January 15 of next year, has an official trailer that has been released by Epix.

One thing is abundantly clear in the trailer: Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker) still rules Harlem and has no plans of relinquishing that control any time soon.

Bumpy Johnson declares at the beginning of the trailer that he won’t give up his freedom. In the first season, Bumpy—who had spent the previous ten years behind bars—returned to find his empire in ruins.

Dealing heroin is a part of his plan to regain control, but his supply was destroyed, he has serious financial issues, and he also has to deal with Joe Colombo (Michael Raymond-James) and the Italians.

As a result of his predicament, his family is now in their sights, but Bumpy is not one to give in easily. The CIA is closely observing everything he does as this storm intensifies all around him.

A thrilling fusion of the civil rights movement and the criminal underworld can be found in Godfather of Harlem.

Godfather of Harlem is reliving some of the most turbulent eras in US history and features some of the most notable civil rights leaders.

Bumpy is losing control of Central Harlem as he continues to refuse to “bend the knee” to the five Italian families.

He is compelled to look for an alliance that shifts the balance of power because he can’t defeat all of his adversaries at once. There is tension in the air, and it’s possible that this is a suicide mission, but the majority of people need to keep in mind that Bumpy owns Harlem.

The most popular series on Epix is Godfather of Harlem. With the finale ranking as the best-performing season finale episode to date, the second season of the crime drama became the best season ever for the service.

The programme won a Primetime Emmy in 2020 for Outstanding Main Title Design, which is evidence of its accomplishments. Swizz Beatz is the executive music producer for the show, which is executive produced by Chris Brancato, Paul Eckstein, Nina Yang Bongiovi, James Acheson, Markuann Smith, and Joe Chappelle.

Along with Whitaker, who also serves as executive producer, and Raymond-James, the cast of the upcoming season also features Vincent D’Onofrio, Ilfenesh Hadera, Lucy Fry, Whoopi Goldberg, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, and Giancarlo Esposito. In addition, Jason Alan Carvell, who is taking over for Nigél Thatch as Malcolm X, has joined the cast.
