Shah Rukh Khan disclosed information about his upcoming film Dunki, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani. According to local Indian media, the film is about individuals who yearn to return home.
Shah Rukh revealed that his film would be titled ‘Donkey’ in English, but since a portion of India pronounces the word ‘Donkey’ as ‘Dunki,’ the film is given that name.
Shah Rukh stated, “In English, my film’s title would be Donkey. In India, however, a portion of the population pronounces donkey as “Dunki.” The Punjabis say it (donkey) as Dunki. How much of the story is to reveal? It is a film directed by Mr. Raju Hirani, one of the most brilliant directors our country has ever produced.”
He continued, “It is a comedy flick. His (Rajkumar Hirani) films are always a mixture of comedy and a great deal of nationalism. It is the narrative of individuals who wish to return home. When you eventually receive a call”
In the meantime, SRK will next be seen in the film Pathaan. The film Pathaan is an action thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra.
