Steven Tyler is charged with sexual assault, sexual abuse, and intentional infliction of emotional distress on a minor in a recent lawsuit. The case also claims that Steven Tyler coerced the minor into having an abortion.

In court documents obtained by Rolling Stone on Thursday, the plaintiff, Julia Holcomb, claimed that she had a sexual relationship with the frontman of Aerosmith in 1973, just after turning 16 years old, when Tyler would have been 25.

Holcomb has already talked in public about her claimed relationship with Tyler, despite the lawsuit not specifically naming Tyler as a defendant and referring to the defendants as Defendant Doe 1 and Does 2 through 50.

She stated in her lawsuit that she first met the artist at an Aerosmith concert in Portland, Oregon and that he escorted her back to his hotel room following the performance.

Before Tyler “committed several acts of unlawful sexual conduct upon” her, according to Holcomb, she informed him of her age and her difficult home life. The following morning, according to Holcomb, he sent her back home in a cab.

She added that the musician had flown her to Seattle for his subsequent Aerosmith concert, where he allegedly committed additional sex acts on her before flying her back to Portland the next day.

Holcomb asserted that Tyler persuaded her mother to grant him the right to be her legal guardian in 1974 by reportedly promising to take care of her and get her enrolled in school.

In contrast, he allegedly continued to travel with her, attack her, and give her booze and narcotics, as stated in Holcomb’s lawsuit.

Holcomb claimed that in 1975, when she was 17 years old, she became pregnant with Tyler’s baby and that the frontman ordered she get an abortion.

She claimed that if she did not get the procedure, he would cease supporting her. Holcomb allegedly left Tyler after the abortion and relocated back to Portland to begin a new life as a devoted Catholic.

Although the girl’s parents “fell in love with me [and] signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn’t get prosecuted if I took her out of state,” Tyler claimed in a memoir he released in 20ll that he “nearly took a juvenile bride.” She went on my tour with me.

In her lawsuit, Holcomb asserted that the book’s release subjected her to “involuntary fame” while fabricating a “romantic, passionate connection.”

Additionally, she pointed out that she is acknowledged in the memoir under the name Julia Halcomb, which may be a typo, reportedly without her permission.

Throughout the years, Holcomb has repeatedly discussed her accusations against Tyler, notably at the 2012 March for Life.
